Hi, I'm Yusuf – software engineer based in Istanbul, Türkiye. The purpose of my life is to experience. I'm developing native iOS apps using SwiftUI and working on backend technologies with Node.js, as well as focusing on mobile app marketing. I might also have a bit sense of UI/UX design. I enjoy contributing to communities by blogging about various topics. Currently, my interests include Hi-Fi sound systems, custom keyboards, financial law and weightlifting.

As a software developer, I work with a product-focused approach and find great pleasure in crafting things. I believe that software development is one of the most "cost-effective" ways to create something, though I'm not entirely sure if it is the easiest way (:

I like reading something, discovering underrated places, bushcraft, blogging, eating and cooking. I’m into mobile app marketing, open-source, digital decentralization, and politics.

I am a true food enthusiast who loves trying new flavors, learning new recipes, and being more creative in the kitchen. I can cook dishes from different cuisines like Turkish, Italian, and Japanese. I adore Turkish cuisine because of its delicious meat dishes, and I am a big fan of Japanese cuisine due to my love for seafood. Italian cuisine, in itself, is a masterpiece. However, if I had to choose only one cuisine to eat for the rest of my life, it would still be Turkish cuisine.

What makes me happy is understanding how things work and knowing why we do certain things. Instead of having superficial knowledge about everything, I prefer to be a T-shaped person. I believe that I should have an opinion on various subjects, but also have an area of expertise.
